Onsite Administration Support Assistant
Birstall | Onsite at Client Manufacturing Facility
Temporary Role | £12.80 per hour, Monday- Friday 8am: 4pm (Flexible for the right candidate)
About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Administration Support Assistant to join our onsite team at a busy manufacturing facility in Birstall.
This temporary position will provide day-to-day administrative support to help ensure workforce records, systems and processes are maintained accurately. Working closely with the onsite team, you'll assist with a variety of administrative tasks, employee queries and reporting requirements, helping to keep the operation running smoothly.
This role would suit someone with good organisational skills, strong attention to detail and a positive, customer-focused approach.
Administration & Office Support
- Maintaining accurate employee records and updating workforce systems.
- Supporting the team with general administration duties and documentation.
- Managing shared inbox enquiries and directing queries where appropriate.
- Assisting with filing, data entry and record management.
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets and other administrative documents as required.
- Helping maintain accurate information across internal systems.

Employee Support
- Acting as a friendly first point of contact for temporary workers and visitors.
- Assisting with new starter paperwork and onboarding administration.
- Supporting attendance and absence recording processes.
- Helping with holiday administration and general workforce-related queries.
- Supporting employee engagement activities where required.
- Escalating more complex issues to the appropriate team member.
Payroll & Data Support
- Assisting with weekly payroll administration.
- Helping resolve basic pay and timesheet queries.
- Supporting the completion and maintenance of compliance documentation.
- Ensuring information entered into systems is accurate and up to date.
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration, office support or customer service experience would be beneficial.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks and work accurately.
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting colleagues and employees.
