What You’ll Do
The Onsite Support Technician will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customers event needs
- Provide media support for high-profile events, conferences, and presentations, Town Halls, and IPO’s (initial Public Offerings): By ensuring flawless AV execution and collaborating with event organizers to understand AV requirements and deliver exceptional experiences.
- Perform preventative maintenance task to help maintain customer spaces
- Provide technical support for AV equipment and systems, including video conferencing systems, LED video walls, control systems, audio processors, and digital signage.
- Provide field service support of networked devices
- Collaborate with internal/external teams in a professional manner that reflects the values of AVI-SPL
- Understand and adhere to local safety standards for all site duties
- Provide job site documentation and end user training as needed
- Setup and troubleshoot various audio/video/presentation systems.
- Troubleshoot complex AV issues and resolve them efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Travel to various job sites as required
- Client Engagement: Responded to client inquiries in person, via phone, and email regarding room configurations, A/V solutions, and conferencing capabilities. Recommended and implemented appropriate technology setups to ensure seamless and successful meetings.
- Responsible for live seamless switching, graphic and presentation display as well as controlling remote callers via zoom.

Items To Consider
AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.
Must-Haves
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years' experience in Audio Visual Production or related fields.
- Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
- Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow, audio and video codecs, and networking concepts.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible to work after hours and weekends when required
- Strong knowledge of Crestron, Extron, Shure, Yamaha, Polycom, Biamp and various other AV manufacturers
- Zoom Webinar operational experience.
- Control room operational experience
Nice-To-Haves
- Formal education in Electronics or related field
- Intermediate PC troubleshooting knowledge
