You will work closely with engineering teams, project managers and customers to keep the data centre estate running smoothly, safely and reliably.

Hybrid working

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

  • Manage and monitor data centre environments, responding to alerts, incidents and capacity requirements.
  • Oversee installations, decommissions and moves, ensuring accurate EcoStruxure updates and adherence to cabling standards.

  • Maintain documentation, stock levels, access control records and WRF compliance.
  • Support PPM schedules, escalate hardware issues and maintain a clean, secure technical environment.
  • Coordinate with project teams, provide quotations, review acceptance criteria and support issue resolution.

At Capgemini building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a representative and welcoming environment, for everyone.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong technical experience with Schneider EcoStruxure (IT-Expert, IT-Advisor, CFD).
  • Skilled in copper and fibre cabling installation, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of data centre power, cooling, capacity planning and environmental monitoring.
  • Proficient with ServiceNow for incidents, changes and tasks.
  • Strong documentation, organisational and safety-compliance skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in secure, access-controlled environments.
  • Clear, professional communication and ability to work with engineering, project and customer teams.
  • Strong problem-solving, situational awareness and continuous improvement mindset.
  • To be eligible for this role you will need to hold a Full Manual Driving Licence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
