Onsite Planning Executive – Northampton (Temporary Access to Services Team)

About Reed Talent Solutions

Reed is the most recognised recruitment brand in the UK, with 60+ years of experience improving lives through work. Trusted by global and household brands, we connect people from diverse backgrounds with meaningful careers across multiple industries. Our inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing environment celebrates team success and fosters rewarding careers.

We’re currently recruiting for an Onsite Planning Executive in Northampton to join our Service Delivery Team, supporting one of our key clients (Royal Mail sites) through Angard Staffing. This is a fixed-term contract (28th September 2024 – December 2026), managed by Reed Talent Solutions.

What’s the Role About?

As an Onsite Planning Executive, you’ll work directly with Angard Staffing to represent Reed and Angard on-site at Royal Mail sites nationwide. Your role is critical in managing a flexible workforce, resolving operational queries, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders while supporting large-scale recruitment—year-round and during seasonal peaks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Angard temp staff onsite, ensuring smooth workforce deployment.
  • Handle queries from workers, clients, and stakeholders promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with our centrally located delivery and deployment teams to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and address gaps in deployment, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Play a key role in maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.

The role works a shifting pattern – one week 5:30am–2:30pm, the next week 1:30pm–10:30pm, and the final week 9:30pm–6:30am (Monday–Friday). This ensures full round-the-clock coverage.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
