Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, poppi, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 5 production facilities and 16 logistics depots servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.
About the Role:
The role will be based in the Carlsberg Britvic HQ office in Hemel Hempstead, with expected travel to another site location in the south region of the UK once per week. Travel to other locations will be by exception.
Responsibilities:
- Providing proactive and reactive support for end users on site IT services
- Supporting stable and reliable operations of IIT managed services and applications.
- Specifically responsible for securing that all IT structure and IT equipment is handled in the way expected by IIT which is in line with agreed Group, IIT and market objectives – underlined by Carlsberg Britvics Growth Culture Principles Behaviours, and the procedures around it, with a large focus on knowledge transfer of Microsoft 365 functionality into the business end users
- Support for the end-user and solution of the problem on laptop, desktop and mobile devices i.e. iPads, iPhones, Android phones and other tablets, thin clients, hand-held terminals, printers, scanners and more
- Including managing “break & fix” assignments on the above-mentioned units
- Including Maintenance activities as required (i.e. Apply Printer Maintenance Kits)
- Manage replacement of all applicable end user hardware devices
- Manage bespoke hardware/software IMACD (Install/Move/Add/Change/Delete) enquiry
- Solve common occurring problems with Microsoft applications and other third-party applications
- Microsoft 365 User Workshops and Training
- Password and User Administration
- Local Project Support (Office Moves/Installs)
- Mobile and Landline Telephony Support
- Audio/Visual Support (Meeting rooms, MS Teams equipment, Screens, Displays)
- Manage and support of local data room – Hygiene, Audit and Operational access
- Update of service enquiries in Carlsberg’s Service Management System (SNOW)
- Applying ITIL best practices in the delivery of Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, and Service Request Management activities
- Support collectively within the team an operation encompassing a 7/24/365 environment

Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience as process and/or IT support in an operations environment
- Advanced Microsoft 365 User
- Theoretical and operational knowledge of Lifecycle Management best practices (i.e. Incident Management, Change Management, problem Management)
- High level of analytical skills
- Empathy, clear communication, problem-solving skills, customer focus, accountability & ownership, adaptability/flexibility and good time management
- Able to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels
- Experience with ServiceNow, AV systems and MDM tools desirable
- Good Standard of Maths and English
- "ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management" or equivalent is desirable
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Cisco CCNA are desirable
- Driving Licence essential – own transport required
