Onsite Logistics Consultant
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting for an Onsite Logistics Consultant to join our growing Transport & Logistics division.
Location: Barnsley, S74
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE) + Uncapped Bonus
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest-growing recruitment businesses, managing the day-to-day running of a busy onsite logistics operation.
You'll be responsible for building strong relationships with both our client and workforce, ensuring staffing levels are met, maintaining compliance and delivering an exceptional service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day onsite operation.
- Liaising with the client regarding daily staffing requirements.
- Booking, allocating and confirming agency drivers.
- Conducting inductions and ensuring all compliance is maintained.
- Monitoring attendance, sickness, holidays and shift fulfilment.
- Supporting driver engagement and retention.
- Resolving operational issues quickly and professionally.
- Recruiting new drivers to maintain healthy workforce levels.
- Updating internal systems and producing reports where required.
- Working towards KPIs and service level agreements.

Requirements
- Previous experience within recruitment, transport or logistics is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and recruitment systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
