Location: Client Site, Wisbech, PE14
Hours: Monday–Friday, Full Time | Typically 8:30am–5:00pm
Salary: £28,000–£33,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
We’re looking for an Onsite Account Manager to work directly from our client’s site within a fast-paced logistics environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant or Account Manager looking to take the next step, or an existing Onsite Account Manager who is ready for a new challenge.
You’ll be the key link between our recruitment business, the client’s management team and the temporary workforce onsite. You’ll play a hands-on role in people planning, recruitment, onboarding and day-to-day workforce management, while building a strong and trusted relationship with the client.
No formal qualifications are required, and full training will be provided. However, you must have at least 6 months’ experience within a recruitment agency or account management environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work onsite at our client’s location, acting as the main point of contact for recruitment and workforce matters.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with the client’s management team.
- Support workforce planning and ensure the client has the right people in place at the right time.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for new starters.
- Coordinate candidate attraction, selection, compliance and onboarding.
- Use our Matchmaker ATS to manage candidates, vacancies and workforce activity.
- Support the day-to-day management of the onsite workforce.
- Monitor attendance, performance and engagement.
- Conduct performance management and address issues professionally and promptly.
- Work closely with the client to understand changing staffing requirements.
- Meet candidates onsite when required, including early starts from 6:00am when necessary.
- Ensure excellent communication between candidates, workers, the client and our internal recruitment team.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, service levels and workforce performance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure recruitment and onboarding processes are followed correctly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
