User Support Technician HMRC Workplace Services
Portsmouth (Cosham)

Role
We are looking for a dynamic and driven IT Technician to be the face of Fujitsu working with end users on the HMRC account. Your role will primarily involve delivering face-to-face IT support to users at a Connect IT Bar within the HMRC Regional Centre in Portsmouth. You will be working alongside other IT technicians on site. You will provide:
- User support at the Connect IT Bar.
- Support for Network devices, PCs, Laptops, Surface Pros, Telephony devices and other locally installed peripherals.
- Support for AV setup within meeting rooms and completion of checks to confirm meeting rooms are fully operational.
- Management and delivery of local moves and changes on site.
- Support of official Homeworkers when required (off-site visits).
- Development of key relationships with end user HMRC staff in various business areas.
- Provision of support to relevant Fujitsu (and sometimes HMRC) third parties.
- Feedback on perceived issues, to ensure new services are engaged successfully, negating problems before they arise.
