Operating Model Consultant
£450 per day - Inside IR35 | 7 Weeks + Extension
We’re currently looking for a Consultant-level Operating Model specialist to join a high-profile public sector programme at an important stage of its digital transformation journey.
You’ll play a key role in helping define the future-state operating environment and how digital capabilities can be organised to deliver against strategic priorities. You’ll have the opportunity to shape operating model thinking, influence prioritisation and help turn strategic ambitions into actionable recommendations.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and evolving digital operating models aligned with organisational strategy.
- Developing prioritisation frameworks to support investment and delivery decisions.
- Translating strategic goals into practical operating model approaches and recommendations.
- Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Providing analysis, insight and recommendations across digital, business and operating model transformation.

What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in Operating Model design and transformation.
- A background in Digital Transformation, digital strategy or business transformation.
- Strong understanding of business strategy and strategic planning.
- Experience creating prioritisation or decision-making frameworks.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders within complex organisations.
- Previous consulting experience, ideally supporting large-scale transformation programmes.
