About Bolter

Bolter is an AI agent platform built to help people get real work done, without needing to stitch together multiple tools or spend weeks setting things up.

You describe what you need in plain language and Bolter creates and runs agents that can carry out the work end to end. They retain context, remember how you work and can also create real, shareable apps such as trackers and dashboards.

Bolter is funded and currently at the validation-sprint stage, working with a small group of high-impact operators. The product already exists. We are now looking for a founding designer to lead a significant redesign and establish the design foundations for what comes next.

About the role

As Operating Partner, you're a general problem solver working directly with the founding team. You take the company's highest-priority problems, whatever shape they arrive in: a function that needs building, a launch that needs landing, a market that needs opening, a team that needs fixing. You own them end to end and you deliver. This is a role for someone who has a strong track record of success in solving hard problems and now wants the widest possible surface area at one of Europe's most ambitious AI ventures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll do

  • Spearhead company priorities. Take the initiatives that matter most to the business, from ambiguous brief to shipped outcome. Define the problem, build the plan, execute it, and report on the result with numbers.
  • Find growth and revenue. Spot emerging opportunities across product, go-to-market and partnerships. Build the case, then go get them.
  • Own functions and verticals. Assume full ownership of standalone functions, verticals or teams, including turnaround situations. Build them, staff them, and either run them or hand them over stronger than you found them.
  • Recruit and lead. Hire high performers, set the bar, and deliver through others as comfortably as you deliver yourself.
  • Build processes that scale. Design operations that hold at ten times our size, and run them in Bolter itself. We automate our own work first.

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years in high-growth technology companies, investment banks, private equity, VC or venture building, with clear evidence of career progression
  • A track record of excellence across more than one domain: you've built things, fixed things, and led things that weren't your specialty when you started.
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ people, directly or across functions.
  • Comfort with extreme ambiguity and full accountability for outcomes. When nobody can set your brief, you set it yourself.
  • Fluency with AI tools in your daily work.

While we think the above experience could be important, we're keen to hear from people who believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply!
