Operational Account Manager

Hybrid | Solihull

Are you commercially-minded and thrive on building strong client relationships and driving performance?

This leading insurtech and vehicle replacement solutions provider is going through a period of rapid growth and is looking for an Operational Account Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of dedicated hire contracts.

This is a genuinely exciting time to join, with real scope to shape how operational excellence is delivered as the business scales.

What you'll be doing:

  • 🤝 Acting as primary operational contact for key client accounts, leading performance review meetings
  • 📊 Monitoring operational KPIs and using data to drive productivity, quality, and efficiency
  • 🛠️ Identifying operational risks and implementing effective mitigation plans
  • 📈 Analysing performance data and presenting reports/dashboards to clients and senior leadership
  • 👥 Leading, coaching, and developing the dedicated hire team
  • 🎓 Designing and delivering customer experience training across the business

What we're looking for:

  • ✔️ 5+ years' operational or account management experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
  • ✔️ Experience within vehicle rental, fleet management, mobility, or a related industry
  • ✔️ Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • ✔️ Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
  • ✔️ A full UK driving licence

A Project Management or Lean Six Sigma qualification would be a bonus, as would experience implementing digital customer service tools such as chatbots or self-service platforms.

Hybrid working, 2-3 days in office per week.
