Operations Analytics & Insight Lead
Permanent | London (Hybrid)
Up to £100k + benefits
I'm currently representing my client on an exciting Operations Analytics & Insight Lead opportunity, leading the data and insights function across a complex operational environment.
The Role:
- Own and evolve the Data & Insights strategy across Operations.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of analysts.
- Establish a trusted single source of truth for operational and customer metrics.
- Design measurement frameworks, experiments, scorecards and performance thresholds.
- Act as the senior analytical partner to leadership, turning complex problems into clear commercial decisions.
- Drive analytical standards, quality and best practice across the function.
- Champion the responsible use of AI and automation across operations.

Requirements:
- Proven experience leading a data, analytics or insights function.
- Strong quantitative and statistical skills, including experiment design and testing.
- Ability to connect data and metrics to wider business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level.
- Strong technical understanding of SQL, cloud data warehousing and modern data tooling.
- Experience with tools such as BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Git and Looker/Tableau or similar.
- Python experience is advantageous.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity while maintaining strong analytical rigour.

- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of influencing strategic decisions through data.
- Experience within complex customer-facing or operational environments.
- Experience with AI, automation and operational analytics.
- The ability to challenge senior stakeholders and translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
