Operational Asset Manager | Affordable Housing | BTR/PBSA/Leasehold backgrounds wanted!

£50,000 - £60,000 +

Your pathway from site operations into Asset Management

Fancy trading day-to-day site management for a role with a genuine career trajectory into Asset Management?

I'm working with a charitable operator delivering high-quality, affordable homes at Intermediate Market Rent — housing people can actually afford, professionally managed, below full market rent. They're hiring an experienced operator to take full ownership of a new asset.

Why this one's different

You'll start by running the asset day-to-day — residents, managing agents, contractors, compliance, service charges, the lot. But this isn't a "GM for life" role. As you settle in, you'll work increasingly closely with the Asset Management team, getting real exposure to financial reporting, investment decisions and long-term strategy. It's a proper stepping stone, not just a job title change.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
