Operational Change Coordinator
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Operational Change Coordinator to support the successful delivery of operational change, service improvements and new initiatives across airport parking operations at London Gatwick Airport. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with senior leaders, frontline teams, client departments and contractors to make sure projects land smoothly in a live operational environment.
You’ll be a key point of coordination between operational teams, stakeholders and external partners, helping to keep activity on track through clear planning, action tracking, meeting support and timely updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of operational change, new product implementation and service improvement initiatives.
- Coordinating activity across senior leadership, operational teams, client departments and contractors.
- Working with Health & Safety teams to identify and mitigate risks linked to project or product changes.
- Facilitating project meetings, preparing agendas, capturing minutes and following up on actions.
- Maintaining project plans and action trackers, ensuring timelines, deliverables and responsibilities are clear.
- Tracking milestones, identifying risks or delays early, and escalating issues with clear recommendations.
- Supporting user testing, operational trials and the rollout of new systems or processes.
- Coordinating operational readiness activity, including training, briefing packs, documentation and SOP updates.
- Supporting and deputising for the Senior Project Delivery Lead at client meetings and presentations when required.
- Building strong working relationships with senior leaders, frontline operational teams, client departments and external contractors.
- Meeting contractors on site to explain requirements, agree scope and support delivery.
- Helping teams prepare for operational changes by coordinating communications, signage, familiarisation and training.
- Ensuring operational guides, SOPs and customer-facing information are created, reviewed and kept up to date.

Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who is confident coordinating multiple activities, enjoys working with different teams and can communicate clearly in a fast-moving operational environment.

- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- A practical problem solver who can identify issues, recommend solutions and escalate appropriately.
- Comfortable gathering feedback from operational teams and understanding project impacts.
- Confident learning and using different systems, tools and technologies.
- Experienced in creating, reviewing or implementing processes and procedures.

Your Skills & Experience
- Experience in operational planning, project support, project coordination, supplier coordination or a similar role.
- Experience in an operational environment such as airport, travel, hospitality, logistics or similar would be beneficial.
- Strong client-facing skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders and contractors.
- The ability to analyse operational information and produce clear, concise updates or reports.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Familiarity with CDM Regulations 2015 would be an advantage.
- Health & Safety accreditation such as NEBOSH National General Certificate and/or IOSH Managing Safely would be beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
