About the role

As a Built Environment Operational Compliance Support Manager, your primary purpose is to provide support to the BE Operational Compliance Team to provide complete / correct asset data, operational reporting and analytics. You will be tracking asset data quality targets and regularly reporting to the BE Managers. You will utilise the Asset Management System and other Data Repositories to inform work streams and investment. You will provide information / tools / data to enable reporting against agreed operational and asset data quality targets.

You will be a problem solver for one of the biggest organisations within the public sector and responsible for supporting the APD Built Environment team drive asset data and reporting improvements via the Asset Management System (Maximo) to improve asset data quality / completeness and the functional requirements to be data driven and planning led.

Key accountabilities

  • Assuring the completeness / correctness of all BE Data held in the Asset Management System and other Data Repositories relevant to AP inclusive of Data Quality.
  • Undertake internal audits of asset data and data quality including supporting information to ensure data and records are fit for operational use.
  • Responsible for producing information / weekly reports / dashboards aligned to Safety / Operations / Performance.
  • Interpret / format asset data to enable the production of all BE ACR(s), associated Compliance Plans and compliance with S1042 - Managing LU Asset Risk: Recording of Assets and Data for Condition Reporting.
  • Support the creation / maintenance of the BE Risk Register(s) (Local / Thematic etc) and capturing Asset / Operational / Safety mitigations with the relevant subject matter experts.
  • Identify Assets Records and Associated Drawings that require amendment(s) and delivering those amendments with relevant internal/external stakeholders.
  • Undertake review(s) / acceptance of Asset Data Handover (ADMF/TLF447) relating to all introduced, renewed, refurbished, removed, disposed of assets in compliance with the relevant Industry Best Practice / Legislation / TfL Engineering Standards, Procedures and Guidance.
  • Create automated workflows / process to enable operational reporting, the auditing of Asset Data and Asset Data Quality.
  • Implement processes and provide data tools to enable the production of the Corrective / Minor Works - 3-year Work-Banks(s) with support from relevant ‘Asset Stewards’ to mitigate Asset / Operational / Safety risks.
  • Utilise reporting methods and automation to identify ‘pipeline’ works into Capital Delivery with the ‘Asset Stewards’.
  • Deputise for the Built Environment Operational Compliance Team as required to cover day to day business requirements.

  • Practical familiarity with at least one business intelligence tool (e.g. AXIOM, Microsoft BI, SharePoint etc.) including data visualisation (Desirable).
