Operational Delivery Project Manager

Waterloo, London – 3 days onsite
£750 per day | Inside IR35
Contract

We’re looking for an experienced Operational Delivery Project Manager to lead a major technology sustainability programme through implementation, operational readiness, stabilisation and transition into BAU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery from design through implementation and value realisation
  • Drive operational readiness, service transition, deployment and BAU handover
  • Lead cross-functional teams through testing, deployment and stabilisation
  • Manage delivery risks, dependencies, governance and financial forecasting
  • Define and manage Non-Functional Requirements and operational outcomes
  • Identify root causes, process inefficiencies and systemic issues
  • Manage service performance, stability, incidents, risk and OPEX
  • Communicate technical and operational issues to senior stakeholders
  • Manage vendors, governance and assurance activities

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in IT / technology delivery
  • Strong experience delivering complex technology projects into production
  • Proven operational readiness and service transition experience
  • Strong Agile and Waterfall delivery experience
  • Experience across cloud, SaaS and digital platforms
  • Strong infrastructure knowledge, including resilience, environments, release management and change control
  • Experience with governance, assurance, vendor management, budgeting, dependencies and risk
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent certification
  • Experience managing complex projects/programmes up to $5m+
