Operational Excellence Administrator

(Part-time 22.5 hours per week over 5 days on-site)

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operational Excellence Administrator to support our Group SHE (Safety, Health & Environment), Operational Excellence function and the Stallingborough site.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on organisation, and wants to play a key role in supporting business operations. As an Operational Excellence Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the site, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to a strong culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administrative and office support to employees, customers, and site teams
  • Maintaining accurate and organised records, files, and databases
  • Arranging business travel and accommodation
  • Collecting, inputting, and maintaining company data
  • Answering incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
  • Raising and processing purchase requisitions
  • Managing and resolving invoice queries
  • Coordinating the dispatch of customer samples
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Scheduling meetings, appointments, and site events
  • Ordering stationery and office supplies
  • Preparing meeting rooms and supporting site meetings
  • Supporting compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management Systems
  • Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Undertaking general ad hoc administrative duties as required

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • GCSE education (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work, including occasional out-of-hours support when required
