SITE EXCELLENCE LEAD | FOOD MANUFACTURING | WILTSHIRE

Up to £75,000 + benefits

If you're a Continuous Improvement / Lean professional who wants to move beyond running individual projects and genuinely change how a manufacturing site operates, this could be an excellent opportunity.

I'm recruiting for a Site Excellence Lead for an established Food Manufacturing business in Wiltshire.

This is a highly visible, site-based role working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibility for driving the site's Excellence and Continuous Improvement agenda.

What will you be doing?

You'll be at the heart of the site's improvement strategy, helping to build a genuine continuous improvement culture and turning operational opportunities into measurable results.

You'll:

  • Lead the deployment of the site's Excellence strategy and CI framework
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive cultural and behavioural change
  • Identify opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, People & Sustainability
  • Lead Lean/CI workshops, improvement projects and structured problem-solving
  • Coach and develop leaders and teams in Lean and CI methodology
  • Drive improvements across labour, materials, waste and overheads
  • Use data and performance information to identify opportunities and measure results
  • Challenge existing ways of working and uncover hidden waste
  • Influence across the site without relying on direct line authority
  • Ensure improvements are embedded and sustained, rather than simply delivered as one-off projects

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
