Operational Finance Manager | Fully Remote | North West Based
I’m currently looking to speak with qualified finance professionals about an exciting Operational Finance Manager opportunity with a fully remote working arrangement. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of operational finance, drive process improvements and support key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Review P&L performance, balance sheet positions and key financial variances
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities
- Own month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and journal postings
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting
- Partner with senior operational stakeholders, providing financial insight and challenging performance where appropriate
- Assist with year-end accounts, audit requirements and statutory reporting
- Maintain and improve financial controls and reporting processes
- Support the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and commercial projects

About You

- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing management accounts
- Good technical understanding of P&L, balance sheet and month-end accounting
- Comfortable analysing financial performance and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
