Location: Bromsgrove Head Office with hybrid working - 2 days WFH

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

The role:

The Operational Integration and MI Manager is responsible for supporting the integration of acquisitions into operational teams, ensuring integration activities are effectively tracked, implemented and embedded. The role also drives operational process improvements and leads the development of management information (MI) and reporting to provide meaningful insights that support performance management, risk oversight, business change and informed decision-making across the organisation.

As our Operational Integration and MI Manager, you will typically:

  • Lead on operational integration of acquisitions with regard to due diligence reviews, operational processes and operational alignment.
  • Review relevant Due Diligence documents for acquisitions, providing appropriate challenge and following up on activities.
  • Lead operational discovery activity for acquisitions, including attending discovery days.
  • Lead on operational alignment into AFH for acquisitions. Work collaboratively with operational leaders and subject matter experts to embed consistent processes following acquisitions.
  • Lead the creation, development and ongoing review of management information, ensuring MI is accurate, relevant, timely and aligned to business needs.
  • Analyse operational MI to identify trends, performance issues, risks and opportunities for service, efficiency and control improvements.
  • Produce clear reporting and insight for senior stakeholders to support decision making, prioritisation and performance management.
  • Review existing operational processes, procedures and controls to identify risks, gaps, duplication and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate findings into action plans, working with relevant departments as the operational SME to implement required improvements to operational processes.
  • Coordinate regular reviews of operational processes to ensure they remain effective, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational teams, ensuring changes are clearly documented, communicated and embedded.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Technology and the Business Change team, ensuring process impacts, change activity and improvement opportunities are clearly understood and coordinated.

What we are looking for in our ideal Operational Integration and MI Manager:

  • Experience working in operational management and / or business change
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, controls and governance
  • Confident in gathering information, mapping processes and identifying practical improvement opportunities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret MI, identify trends and present insight clearly
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams and influence at different levels
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise reports, updates and recommendations.
  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation, follow-up and benefits tracking.
