About Myton Food Group

What’s Involved?
Throughout the 2-year scheme, you’ll work across our different manufacturing sites where you’ll be able to experience every aspect of the manufacturing of our top-quality products. You’ll help us drive efficiencies and innovation in a fast-paced environment. Your time will be spent gaining knowledge on the manufacturing process along with an understanding of how to be a successful leader. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:
- Working on exciting live projects to help simplify and improve our manufacturing processes
- Managing factory teams and production lines
- Coordinating the product lifecycle: from field, to factory, to one of our stores

By the end of the programme, you will have the experience and skills needed to progress into the role of a Shift Manager and lead your own team of up to 50 people. If you’ve got the leadership skills and drive to make things happen, then you could progress to join our management team and gain a wealth of experience across the business.

What You’ll Need to Join Us
We are food makers and shop keepers, and together, we make Morrisons. We’re looking for graduates who share our passion for food, its quality and safety. You’ll need to be a great communicator with strong listening skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse team of people. Candidates require a minimum 2:2 in any degree subject but it would be ideal if you had an agricultural interest or a passion for farming! Other key qualities we’d like to see include:

To apply, you’ll need the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the scheme.
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence, and to be happy to relocate to different sites to progress your career if needed. This not only helps us, but it benefits your learning and development.
