About The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and task-focused Operational Project Support Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operational delivery across compliance, recruitment, and supporting areas to achieve their strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will be responsive, dynamic, work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete administrative, logistical, and operational activities.
  • Track progress on key projects and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Support effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Ensure project plans are executed on time and to standard.
  • Assist with compliance monitoring and recruitment processes.

What We’re Looking For

Strong ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.

Highly focused and able to maintain attention on core tasks without distraction.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in managing documentation and operational workflows.

Role Details

  • No line management responsibilities.
  • Not part of the on-call rota.
  • Directly line managed by the Area Manager, who will provide workload direction.

Essential Criteria

Please only apply if you meet the below requirements:

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in working in adult social care, particularly supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury.
  • Experience of working in creative, innovative environments and using data to inform and improve practice.
  • Experience of partnership working.
  • Experience of managing resources within agreed budget.
  • Experience of using IT systems in the management of service and people.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to demonstrate a significant knowledge and understanding of the needs of people with mental health or learning disabilities and be familiar with the current views and best practice.
  • Ability to apply policy and procedure in a way that results in quality outcomes for people.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.
  • Effective resource management.
  • Ability to use ICT for information, performance reporting and communication.
  • Knowledge of equality and anti-discriminatory practices.
  • Knowledge and application of Safeguarding Adult and Child protection procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work at pace.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to motivate and empower others.

Qualifications / Training

  • NVQ3 qualification in management or care (or equivalent) or a willingness and ability to complete such a qualification within a set time period.
  • Training in Person centred practices (planning, review, team development).
