Operational Readiness Manager
We're looking for an experienced and influential leader to join us as an Operational Readiness Manager at the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA). You’ll provide expert leadership, assurance and specialist dental knowledge that will help shape the future of NHS dental services. As a senior leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in the Transforming Dental Systems (TDS) Programme.
This is a unique opportunity to use your extensive NHS dental operational, policy and systems expertise to support a nationally significant programme. You'll work with senior stakeholders across NHS England, DHSC, suppliers and providers, helping to mitigate key programme risks, influence decisions and ensure the successful delivery of transformational change that will benefit patients, providers and the wider NHS.

As an Operational Readiness Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Transforming Dental Systems (TDS) Programme during its most critical phase.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Acting as a subject matter expert on NHS dental operations, policy and systems
- Supporting testing, operational rehearsals, implementation and go-live activities.
- Providing expert advice on design decisions, business rules and future operating models.
- Building strong relationships with NHS England, DHSC, commissioners, suppliers, providers and other stakeholders.
- Supporting supplier onboarding, transition planning and operational readiness activities.
- Identifying and mitigating programme and operational risks.
- Leading stakeholder engagement and supporting informed decision-making.
- Driving knowledge transfer, capability building and succession planning.
- Working collaboratively across programme, operational, digital and service teams.
- Contributing to governance forums, assurance reviews and Board reporting.
