Role Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Operational Risk Analyst to support a confidential strategic transformation programme to establish a licensed European banking entity for the Bank’s Capital Markets business.
The role will focus on identifying operational risks, supporting risk and regulatory gap assessments, and helping to establish and embed effective processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the identification and assessment of operational risks across business processes and programme activities.
- Support risk gap analysis and regulatory gap assessments, identifying process, control and capability gaps.
- Review and document business processes, risks and controls, identifying areas for improvement.
- Help establish and embed appropriate operational risk processes, procedures and controls.
- Support the development and maintenance of risk registers, control documentation and Risk & Control Matrices.
- Track operational risk issues, control weaknesses and remediation actions.
- Provide operational risk input into new processes, operating models and programme deliverables.
- Work with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Treasury, Technology and Capital Markets.
- Support the transition of operational risk processes and controls into business-as-usual operations.

Experience
- Experience in operational risk, risk management, controls or compliance within banking, financial services or a regulated environment.
- Experience analysing processes, risks and controls.
- Experience supporting risk assessments, gap analysis or regulatory assessments.
- Good understanding of operational risk and control frameworks.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience in banking transformation, regulatory change or Capital Markets desirable.
