6+ month Contract

We're supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced Operational Security Lead & Cyber Vulnerability Manager to take ownership of cyber security operations, incident response and vulnerability management across a complex technology landscape.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive operational security maturity, oversee cyber incidents, strengthen threat detection and response capabilities, and lead vulnerability remediation programmes across cloud, infrastructure and business services.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading cyber security operations and incident response activities
  • Owning vulnerability management and remediation programmes
  • Managing threat intelligence, security monitoring and SIEM operations
  • Improving cloud and infrastructure security controls
  • Conducting security assurance activities and compliance reviews
  • Managing third-party security risks and incident response processes
  • Driving DLP initiatives and cyber awareness programmes
  • Providing security leadership to technical and business stakeholders across the organisation

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience within Cyber Security Operations, Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management or Cyber Defence environments
  • Experience in strengthening threat detection and response capabilities.
  • Experience leading major cyber security incidents from identification through to resolution
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management platforms and security testing methodologies
  • Expertise across cloud security, security monitoring, SIEM and threat intelligence functions
  • Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments
  • Rapid7 experience (or Tenable experience)
  • Ability to communicate technical and business risk to senior stakeholders and executive teams

  • Azure Security
  • CISSP and/or CISM certifications
  • Incident Response or Vulnerability Management certifications
  • Network topologies and architecture
  • Operating systems and infrastructure technologies
  • Knowledge of NIST and wider security governance frameworks
