Operational Services and Performance Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Operational Services and Performance Manager to join the Acute Care Group services of GMMH. The postholder will cover inpatient, urgent & emergency care and later life services with the Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will join the Care Group at an exciting time of change and development. You will be responsible for the leadership and operational management of the administrative services within your area. You will take a lead on establishing effective systems and processes to support the operational management, performance monitoring requirements and service continuity across the services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), offering advice, guidance, and support on operational issues to both the team and the service.
  • Strong people management skills, a focus on wellness in work, and effective problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Assist the Business Manager in evaluating performance data and preparing reports, as well as in formulating strategies to enhance service delivery.
  • Lead data and technology resource management by overseeing the effectiveness of software and hardware within the division, managing the replacement of IT systems and equipment, and ensuring that new IT equipment or software is properly introduced and thoroughly tested.
  • To take responsibility for the operational management and leadership of the full range of administrative services across the Division.
  • Assist the Business Manager in implementing local capital projects, developing business cases, managing estates and buildings, and supporting other initiatives.
