The role
As Operational Services Executive, you will provide day-to-day front of house and operational support, helping to ensure customers, students, staff and visitors receive a professional, welcoming and efficient service across Surrey Sports Park. You will support reception, enquiries, bookings, admissions, memberships, payments, access control and customer records, while maintaining high standards of presentation, administrative accuracy and customer care. Acting as a visible operational point of contact on shift, you will support colleagues and casual staff, resolve routine customer queries, escalate issues where needed and work closely with teams across Memberships, Gym, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Team Surrey, Swim Academy, Events and University departments.

About You
We are looking for someone with strong customer service experience, ideally gained in a leisure, sport, hospitality or similar public-facing environment, who can remain calm, professional and organised in a busy multi-service setting. You will have experience of supervising or supporting a front-line team, handling customer queries and complaints with tact and diplomacy, and completing administrative and financial processes accurately, including cash handling, reconciliations, bookings or membership systems. You will be a confident communicator with sound judgement, strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to service improvement. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be essential.
