Operations Executive - Required for this luxury DMC based in the Midlands
They are ideally looking for an experienced operations executive from the travel industry but are open to other industries, office-based, hybrid or mainly home-based is an option after training. Salary up to £33,000 plus up to 2 months salary bonus, 22 days holidays, pension, travel discounts, etc.
Operations Executive Duties
- Managing the clients booking once payment has been taken by the sales team
- Booking accommodation, tour guides, transportation, attractions, restaurants, attractions, and experiences
- With great accuracy inputting travel details
- Providing end-to-end client support, before, during, and after the trip
- Proactively communicating with the client or the US travel agent who introduced them throughout their trip
- Spotting problems before they come client-facing, always thinking one step ahead
- Negotiate favourable terms with the companies partners
- Manage your own client trips, dealing with emergency situations when they arise
- Handling customer complaints

Operations Executive Skills Required
- Ideally, you will have worked in the travel industry in a high pressurized operations role, but they are open to similar roles in other industries
- Passion for the UK
- Attention to detail
- Strong negotiating skills
- Very strong customer service skills
- Comfortable using AI tools

Additional Information
- After 4 weeks training, accommodation and transport paid for if you are not local. They are open to office-based with Fridays working from home and home-based with a trip to the office every couple of weeks for a day. Office based in Telford
- 22 days holidays plus bank holidays, amazing bonus scheme, pension, and discounted holidays
