Embrace Excellence
The primary objective of this role is to plan and deliver the supply of Macallan spirit by overseeing sampling, blending and racking operations for bottling. This includes ensuring precise stock allocation for these processes and coordinating all related transportation activities.
You will collaborate closely with a diverse group of internal stakeholders, including whisky makers, warehouse management, and supply chain planning teams. You will lead and develop a team of four direct reports.
Make an Impact
- Develop and manage the liquid supply plan and other operational plans while optimising efficiencies across operational sites
- Monitor buffer stock levels and KPIs, identifying risks, implementing solutions, and ensuring continuous improvement
- Manage supply change requests, maintain planning data and systems, and support business-critical projects
- Lead, coach, and develop the Operational Stock Planning team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Ensure robust governance through effective reporting, documentation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
- Oversee stock planning activities, including master data, aged stock management, and operational execution across sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver operational plans, support new product development, and ensure service level agreements are appropriate and consistently met
- Drive stock optimisation initiatives to maximise value and enhance operational performance

Your Talent and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in stock management, finance, supply chain operations, and leading teams effectively. You will be highly proficient in Excel, with strong planning, analytical and numerical skills, and the ability to manage complex tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. You will be an excellent communicator with a continuous improvement mindset and hold a degree-level qualification (or equivalent). Experience within the spirits industry would be advantageous.
