Are you highly organised, people-focused and passionate about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Here at Pets at Home, we're looking for an Operational Support Administrator to join our Veterinary Business Operations team and play a key role in supporting Practices, Field Teams and Support Office colleagues across the business.
About the Role
Working closely with the Central Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of the operation, coordinating communications, maintaining key business information, supporting operational priorities and ensuring our practice teams have the tools and support they need to succeed.
The role offers a 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover) and hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Acting as a key point of contact for Field and Operations teams
- Managing operational trackers, calendars and central information sources
- Producing and distributing communications, briefings and updates
- Supporting the delivery of operational projects and business initiatives
- Maintaining strong relationships across Vets for Pets, Retail and Support Office teams
- Helping to create a positive colleague experience, championing wellbeing and engagement

- Highly organised administrator with excellent planning and prioritisation skills
- Confident communicator who can build relationships across a diverse business
- Someone customer and colleague-focused, with a passion for great service
- A proactive team player who can manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong influencing, listening and problem-solving skills
