About the Company
A leading consultancy is expanding its Cyber Security and Operational Technology practice and is looking to hire experienced OT Cyber Security Consultants and OT Cyber Security Architects to support a growing portfolio of critical national infrastructure and industrial clients. This is an opportunity to work on some of the UK's most complex and business-critical environments across sectors including energy, utilities, water, nuclear, transport and wider critical infrastructure.
About the Role
Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Security Consultant / Architect
Location: UK (Hybrid)
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
The Opportunity
Whether your background is in consulting, architecture, risk, engineering or security transformation, you will play a key role in helping organisations improve the security, resilience and performance of their operational technology environments. Candidates should be comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and have a passion for solving real-world cyber security challenges within industrial and OT environments. Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance or already hold active SC Clearance. Applicants must be based in the UK and willing to travel to client sites when required. This is a hybrid position, with onsite requirements varying depending on client and project needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver OT cyber security consulting and architecture services across a range of client environments
- Assess and improve the security posture of OT and industrial control systems
- Conduct cyber security risk assessments and maturity reviews
- Design secure OT architectures and target-state security roadmaps
- Provide expertise across SCADA, ICS and industrial network environments
- Support security transformation and resilience programmes
- Develop practical recommendations aligned to industry standards and regulations
- Work closely with operational, engineering, security and executive stakeholders
- Translate technical risks into clear business-focused outcomes
- Support the development of security strategies, control frameworks and implementation plans
