Join our snack-loving team

We’re looking for an Operational Trainer to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.

Who are we?

We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.

About The Role

We're looking for an Operational Trainer to join our team and play a key role in developing the skills, knowledge and competence of our colleagues across operational activities.

Reporting into the Site HR Lead, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality training programmes focused on Material Handling Equipment (MHE), operational processes and safe ways of working. You'll ensure colleagues have the knowledge, confidence and authorisation to carry out their roles safely and effectively, while supporting compliance with business standards and legislative requirements.

Working closely with operational leaders, Health & Safety and the Education & Training (E&T) Pillar, you'll help drive a culture of safety, capability and continuous improvement. From delivering forklift training and conducting competence assessments to developing Job Operating Procedures (JOPs) and supporting colleague development, you'll have a direct impact on operational performance and colleague growth.

What’s in it for you?

We believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:

  • Competitive annual salary and annual salary review
  • KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • 25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days
  • Comprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme
  • KP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback and wellbeing support
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
