About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join our team. This is a fast-paced and varied role that plays a vital part in ensuring projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered efficiently from inception through to completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting operational activities, coordinating resources, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring all project administration is completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project files in both paper and electronic formats.
- Obtain and verify all relevant project information from Directors in a timely manner.
- Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Order and coordinate delivery of job-specific materials.
- Arrange deliveries and collections through hauliers and courier services.
- Organise the ordering, delivery, and placement of skips and containers.
- Coordinate the hire, delivery, and collection of plant and equipment.
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, and their representatives.
- Monitor project costs and ensure cost plans are achieved or improved upon.
- Prepare project files and documentation ahead of work commencement.
- Coordinate deliveries, collections, and site clearances with relevant third parties.
- Respond promptly and accurately to site queries and operational requests.
- Assess supply chain performance and report any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and support the smooth running of operational activities.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

- Previous experience in an administration or operations support role.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
- Experience producing RAMS or working within construction, flooring, or related industries would be advantageous.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to work.
Working Hours
- Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 5pm
- Fri 8:30am - 4pm
Salary
TBC depending on experience.
