Operations Administrator Apprentice
A leading supplier of office and welfare furniture are looking to recruit a customer service apprentice for their team. You will undertake all aspects of business sales administration which will be assisting the operations team.

Responsibilities
- General office administration tasks
- Answering and transferring calls to relevant departments
- Accurately entering data to platforms
- Responding to messages that are received
- Work closely with all other departments to establish business critical information
- Update, process, input delivery notes onto all relevant databases
- Keep all databases up to date with any changes made to the delivery notes (e.g. delivery date changes, site contact changes)
- Contact customers via telephone/email to gain site contact information for their delivery if this information is not on the delivery note
- Contact customers to organise all deliveries scheduled for the following day, receiving verbal confirmation
- Document all correspondence and input details on Outlook, such as confirmation times for each delivery
- Email delivery confirmation for each order with times and dates, attaching site checklist where applicable
- Check incoming completed site checklists, ensuring the delivery team are aware of site access, restrictions and requirements
- Communicate specific site restrictions/requirements so jobs can be organised appropriately
- Collaborate with the team regarding site-specific and generic RAMS as and when required for each delivery
- Book in deliveries via the customer booking-in system, informing employee and vehicle details
- Email site contacts with delivery information such as operatives attending, vehicle information, and site ETA as and when required

Application Process
- Most of your apprenticeship is spent working, with hands-on experience.
- Apprenticeships include time away from work for specialist training with McArthur Dean Training Limited.
- You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills, including functional skills in maths and English (if required), End-Point Assessment (EPA), and one-to-one tutor assessor support in the workplace.
- Weekly classes cover health and safety and equality and diversity, working towards completing the EPA.
- The training course is Customer Service Practitioner (Level 2).
