This role is based at our site in Tywyn, Wales LL36 9LW.
Working Hours - Monday-Friday (37.5 hours)

Based in Tywyn, Brighter Foods is a key part of our manufacturing network, specialising in the production of high-quality, innovative snack bars and functional food products. THG’s Manufacturing Division operates around the clock across multiple global facilities, delivering safe, effective, and cutting-edge nutrition solutions. This role sits within one of our dedicated satellite sites, where teams work with precision, pace, and pride to consistently deliver outstanding results.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the Operations Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support across the manufacturing operation. Acting as a key liaison between Production, Health & Safety, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and external suppliers, you will ensure the smooth administration of site activities while maintaining accurate records, supporting compliance, and improving operational efficiency.

- Production reporting
- Purchasing administration
- Health and safety support

Due to the varied nature of the role and the location of the site, the successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, taking ownership of tasks, and supporting multiple departments across the business.
This position offers excellent exposure to manufacturing operations and provides an opportunity to develop knowledge across Production, Health & Safety, HR, Supply Chain, and Site Leadership functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, maintaining, and reporting on production data
- Investigating discrepancies in data and working to resolve them
- Assisting the teams in maintaining stock levels and movement of inventory
- Communicating with the site to ensure all relevant stakeholders have visibility of key production information
- Working with the time and attendance system, identifying any discrepancies or triggers
- Supporting the shift management team with arranging and organising a variety of meetings
Ideal Candidate
- Be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Have strong administrative and coordination skills
- Be confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Be capable of working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
- Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities
- Have a proactive approach and passion for continuous improvement
- Be comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
- Have previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Be comfortable working with operational systems and databases
