This is what you’ll actually do!

As an Advanced Team Member, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your assigned production line, ensuring safety, quality, output, and compliance standards are achieved. You'll lead by example on the shop floor, supporting, coaching, and motivating team members while creating a positive, collaborative working environment.

You'll monitor line performance, including run rates, downtime, and efficiency, taking prompt action to keep production on track. You'll support product changeovers, line set-up, and basic fault resolution, while ensuring all production, quality, and compliance records are completed accurately.

Working closely with the Manufacturing Advanced Team Leader, you'll help train and onboard new starters, provide guidance to agency colleagues, and support effective communication across the shift. You'll also contribute to workforce flexibility by providing ASH (Absence, Sickness & Holiday) cover one level up and one level down when required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
