Position: Subject Matter Expert Financial & Operations Chart Analysis
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $25 - $50/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 - 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Interpret a range of complex financial and operational charts, applying advanced domain knowledge.
- Draft clear, objective reasoning questions based on intricate visualizations, requiring multi-step quantitative analysis.
- Deliver unambiguous, precise answers with comprehensive written explanations and analytical steps or calculations.
- Apply accurate financial, economic, and operational terminology, ensuring clarity throughout all submissions.
- Develop robust tasks targeting graphical reasoning, comparisons, trend analysis, calculations, and interpolation.
- Collaborate remotely with project teams, communicating effectively to incorporate feedback and ensure reliability.
- Consistently produce objectively verifiable tasks that support the development, training, and evaluation of AI models.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong experience interpreting financial market data, risk metrics, or operational performance charts.
- Advanced proficiency in interpreting chart features such as axes, units, legends, scales, and annotations.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate analytical processes and quantitative reasoning in both written and spoken English.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and ideally a second language relevant to the financial or operational domain.
- Strong experience in technical documentation, financial reporting, process or quality assessment, or structured analytical task creation.
- Background in producing data-annotation tasks, benchmark questions, technical reports, or related deliverables for finance, operations, or AI-driven projects.
