Operations (Contracts) Analyst
Scottish Power Corporate
18 month initial contract
Glasgow/hybrid style working
Full time, Mon - Fri
Role Purpose
The Operations Contract Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and enhancing the employee experience across ScottishPower's General Services portfolio, which includes Catering, Mailroom, Print Room, Stationery, and Travel contracts. This position ensures that services are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with business objectives by:
- Creating and maintaining operational "How-To" guides, Hub pages, communications updates, and promotional materials.
- Collating, validating, and analysing data for dashboards and monthly contract performance reports.
- Supporting governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across all service contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management & Communication
- Developing and maintaining clear, user-friendly operational "How-To" guides and Hub pages to support employees in accessing and using services effectively.
- Creating communications updates and promotional materials to raise awareness of available services, policy changes, and sustainability initiatives.

Data Management & Reporting
- Collating, validating, and analysing operational and supplier performance data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Producing dashboards and monthly performance reports that provide actionable insights for contract managers and stakeholders.
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through data-driven analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement & Service Optimization
- Acting as a liaison between internal teams and service providers to ensure smooth operations and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Contributing to service enhancements that improve employee experience and align with ScottishPower's sustainability and cost-efficiency goals.

- Assisting in monitoring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and regulatory requirements across all service contracts.
- Supporting audits, contract reviews, and variation processes through accurate documentation and reporting.
Experience & Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
- 1-2 years in contract support, operations analysis, or procurement support.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and supplier performance monitoring.
- Track record creating employee-facing How-To materials and dashboards.
- Familiarity with supplier performance management, SLAs, and monthly reporting.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI (or similar reporting tools), and contract management systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
