Role Overview
We are working with a very well-established and highly regarded independent Insurance Broker based in the heart of the City, seeking an ambitious Operations Analyst to join their growing Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their operational, project management, and insurance market knowledge within a highly respected specialist broker. This role will require you to be in the office 3 days a week (4 days to begin with - through the initial training period), with the opportunity to work from home for the other 2 days.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you will support a variety of business-critical projects and operational initiatives, helping to drive efficiency, improve processes, and contribute to business transformation activities across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational change and transformation projects across the business
- Maintain project documentation, action logs, and progress reports
- Coordinate meetings, committees, and project working groups
- Produce management information, KPI reporting, and operational analysis
- Assist with onboarding new third-party partners and maintaining stakeholder records
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Liaise with broking, compliance, finance, and operational teams across the business
- Support the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and operational controls
- Assist with system enhancements and user support activities

Role Requirements
- Previous experience within insurance, financial services, operations, or business support functions
- This role will suit someone who is organised, proactive, able to breakdown projects or tasks into their components, and able to pursue tasks to completion
- The ability to perform root cause analysis is required – taking outputs of reporting, assessing against company appetites, and investigating outlying information in conjunction with business team partners
- You will be able to build strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across the business
- An interest in operational excellence, business change, and project management
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach
