I’m partnering with a leading global hedge fund on an urgent hire into their London Operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced buy-side Operations professional who has developed strong expertise across asset servicing, corporate actions and the full trade lifecycle and is looking to join a sophisticated, multi-asset investment environment.
The opportunity
You’ll support a complex portfolio across equities, credit, structured products, repo financing and OTC derivatives/swaps, taking ownership of operational workflows from trade capture through settlement and subsequent lifecycle events.
This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility and interaction across Trading, Treasury, Finance and Technology, as well as external prime brokers, custodians, counterparties, transfer agents and administrators.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex corporate actions and asset servicing events
- Processing dividends, coupons, restructurings and PIK elections
- Managing physical settlements, re-registrations and DWAC activity
- Overseeing trade capture, settlement and lifecycle events
- Managing daily cash, position and transaction reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving breaks and operational exceptions
- Supporting financing activity, including repo
- Working across equities, credit, structured products and OTC derivatives/swaps
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex operational issues
- Supporting month-end processes, controls and audit requirements
- Contributing to automation, workflow optimisation and AI-driven efficiency initiatives

Who I’m looking for
You’ll ideally have 4–5 years of Operations experience gained directly within a hedge fund or investment fund environment.
⚠️ For this particular search, direct fund experience is essential.
You should have strong hands-on knowledge of:
- Asset servicing
- Corporate actions
- Equities and credit products
- Trade settlements and lifecycle management
- Cash, position and transaction reconciliations
- Restructurings / PIKs / complex lifecycle events
- Physical settlements
- Repo and/or OTC derivatives exposure

Additional exposure to Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI or automation tools would also be highly regarded.
