The Operations Analyst

The Operations Analyst supports operational performance through data validation, recurring reporting, process issue investigation, workflow analysis, and tracking measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organise, and validate operational data from agreed sources before using it in reports
  • Maintain recurring reports and simple dashboards for volumes, turnaround times, and process quality
  • Investigate unusual changes, reconcile inconsistent records, and document findings with clear supporting evidence
  • Map routine workflows, identify handoff problems, and support colleagues in testing practical improvements
  • Track agreed operational actions, monitor outcomes, and maintain up-to-date process documentation
  • Communicate findings and limitations clearly to colleagues without overstating what the data shows

Qualification

Required

  • Entry-level candidates are welcome; analytical experience may come from coursework, internships, volunteering, or personal projects
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic summaries
  • Ability to check data quality, reason through a discrepancy, and explain a finding clearly
  • Attention to detail, organisation, and willingness to ask questions about unfamiliar business processes
  • Clear communication in English and ability to work reliably with a remote team
