Job Description:

JIRA Analyst – Regulatory Reporting Group

Job Description: 12-month fixed-term contract

Customer

  • Act as the primary bridge between the Regulatory Reporting Group (RRG) and Technology for the management and progression of JIRA items.
  • Host bi-weekly stakeholder calls to review JIRA progress, resolve blockers and confirm readiness for upcoming monthly release cycles.
  • Coordinate with RRG, Technology and Compliance to maintain clear ownership, actions and delivery dates for priority JIRA items.

Shareholder

  • Confirm the monthly priority JIRA population with Compliance, ensuring agreed priorities are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate management metrics and reporting on JIRA volumes, status, ageing, priority, delivery progress, blockers and upcoming release milestones.
  • Review JIRA records to ensure each item is assigned to the correct risk category and contains sufficient information to support prioritisation and governance.
  • Ensure sustained focus on risk-sensitive and aged JIRA items, escalating delays, control concerns and delivery risks through the appropriate governance channels.

Employee/Team

  • Build effective working relationships across RRG, Technology, Compliance and other stakeholders involved in JIRA delivery.
  • Communicate JIRA status, priorities, risks and required decisions clearly and concisely to management and wider stakeholder groups.

Breadth & Depth

  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA.
  • Understanding of regulatory reporting operations, technology delivery lifecycles and the governance required to manage changes into monthly releases.
  • Ability to analyse JIRA data, identify trends and exceptions, and translate findings into clear management information and actionable follow-ups.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge priorities, drive actions and escalate delivery risks appropriately.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
