Operations Analyst
Location: Glasgow
Role Type: Contract - 12 months
Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days at home

The Role
Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.
What you'll do
- Manage client-related processes, including trade amendments, queries and reporting, ensuring requests are completed within agreed timescales.
- Identify operational risks and key issues within day-to-day processes, contributing to improvements and more efficient ways of working.
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge and supporting team objectives.
- Participate in projects and business initiatives, contributing to solutions and ensuring timely delivery.
- Apply knowledge of the supported business area and client requirements while maintaining appropriate controls and operational standards.

What you bring
- At least 2 years' relevant experience supporting a front-office team in a fast-paced investment banking environment, ideally within operations or financial services.
- Strong understanding of the business area being supported and its client requirements.
- Able to establish clear priorities and manage competing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Confident handling non-standard issues and using sound judgement to reach appropriate solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with a clear understanding of operational risk and the importance of maintaining controls.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
