Role Title: Data Front End & Enablement - Operational Analyst
Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Telford. Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite
Rate: up to £322 p/d Umbrella inside IR35
Role purpose / summary
The Front End and Enablement Function represents the entry point to the Data Portfolio and the first stage of the Demand lifecycle for all of our client’s business needs. It is the area that sees every item of new work (Demand) and every Discovery and Walkthrough notification. It is a fast-paced and high-volume Service Level-driven (SLA) function acting as a critical link between internal Data Portfolio delivery teams, a central Demand team and the client.
The role entails working to support incoming Demand, a real focus of which is the triage and evaluation of items for complexity, new technology and where to focus specific attention. As the Demand lifecycle continues, the focus then moves to the correct logging and treatment of the request in accordance with contractual rules, the co-ordination of response issuing and ultimately the commissioning of items via a successful sale to the client. All of this is underpinned by ensuring or providing accurate tracking and governance, while also building trusted relationships with stakeholders.
The role goes beyond co-ordination: you will be an advocate for automation, improve processes, and act independently when required—helping to scale and strengthen the function as demand complexity grows.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Management & Co-ordination
- Manage the flow of assigned Demand items from intake through to response submission and client commissioning
- Co-ordinate across multiple teams to ensure timely and accurate responses
- Monitor progress and proactively identify risks to SLA timelines
- Ensure all activity is tracked accurately within workflow tools
Discovery (DDS) and Walkthrough Governance & Oversight
- Maintain timely compliance to client Demand
- Ensure adherence to agreed processes, timelines and governance
- Facilitate attendance at Design and Discovery (DDS) walkthroughs
- Provide clear and reliable visibility of demand status, allocation and fulfilment
- Support the production of client reporting and revenue tracking
- Liaison with the DPS DDS lead for operational management of the service.

Enablement Facilitation
- Facilitation of regular meetings and daily Enablement stand-ups
- Facilitate attendance at DPS Deliverables & Requirements walkthroughs
- With specialist colleagues, triage work that comes through to the Data Portfolio to ensure transition to the correct team for onward impacting and response
- Support completion of qualification notes for new items
- Identify key themes for customer challenges or blockers in the process - identify root cause.
Governance & Data Quality
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness
- Ensure adherence to agreed processes and contractual obligations
- Provide clear and reliable visibility of Demand status and pipeline including the preparation of operational reports
- Identify inconsistencies or gaps and take corrective action
- Act as a SME for Data Portfolio in the use of Capgemini Impacting workflow CIW (Jira)
- Provide cover for team members as required
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted interface for stakeholders across delivery teams, our leaders and the client
- Communicate clearly and confidently on status, risks, and next steps
- Support client interactions day-to-day, stepping up to lead communication when required
- Build credibility through accuracy, clarity, and professionalism
Decision Support & Ownership
- Propose recommended approaches on demand handling, routing, and prioritisation
- Operate independently within defined boundaries when required
- Support escalation management with structured, evidence-based input
- Reduce dependency on senior roles through effective ownership
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and clarity
- Draft and refine processes, templates and guidance materials
- Support improvements to workflow tools, reporting, and ways of working
- Contribute to increasing overall maturity of the FrontEnd and Enablement function

Must Have
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- The ability to own tasks and complete tasks to tight deadlines across high volumes and short cycle responses
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage confidently with stakeholders
- Structured thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Experience working with data, tracking tools, or workflow systems
- Ability to interpret information, share when relevant and propose clear, logical next steps
- Ability to link similar pieces of work together
Desirable
- Experience in PMO, delivery or governance roles
- Exposure to client-facing environments or contract-based delivery
- Experience drafting processes or guidance documentation
- Understanding of SLA-driven environments

- Stakeholder and client confidence in outcomes and communications
- Ability to operate independently with minimal escalation
