The Role
We’re looking for an Operations analyst to join our SIPP team. You’ll work primarily within the SIPP area of our Operations team and be responsible for completing daily and monthly operational processes. This ranges from processing pension benefits and producing regulatory reporting to investigating and resolving issues raised by our customers.
You’ll work closely with the rest of our Operations team and our customer teams to ensure operational processes and issues are resolved in line with agreed SLAs. You’ll also use your knowledge to review and recommend process improvements and automation where possible, helping us build scalability for the engine of tomorrow.
On a typical day you will be...
- Supporting your Operations delivery lead with regular business reporting
- An analytical problem solver, delivery focused and a trusted member of the team, you will support the wider business by answering queries in a timely manner
- Investigating and taking end to end ownership of our SIPP processes. Ensuring issues are resolved in line with regulatory and customer agreed SLAs
- Reviewing operational workflow and, where possible, suggesting process improvements
- Working closely with the customer, product and engineering teams to explore better ways of working and to support our scalability
- Supporting with training for new members of the team
- Supporting other areas of Operations as and when required

This Role’s for You If...
- You have a good understanding of the Investment Management industry
- You have the ability to identify, analyse and resolve any complex issues working to strict deadlines
- You have good domain knowledge of investment platforms, particularly pensions and other tax wrappers
- You have strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to describe to both technical and non-technical audiences

- First stage – 45 mins competencies-based interview with the hiring manager
- Second stage – one-hour technical interview or assessment
