Operations Analytics & Insights Lead London/Hybrid
Up to £100,000
This is a unique opportunity to lead an established analytics function while remaining close to the work. You'll combine people leadership, operational analytics, experimentation, and AI-driven innovation to influence business strategy and improve customer and operational outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Operations Analytics & Insights Lead will:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts and analytics professionals
- Define analytical priorities and build a structured, value-driven roadmap
- Partner with senior stakeholders to influence business decisions through insight
- Develop frameworks to measure operational performance and identify inefficiencies
- Deliver hands-on analysis, experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical evaluation
- Build scalable reporting and measurement frameworks
- Automate manual processes and improve analytical workflows
- Support AI-enabled operational initiatives, including chatbot and copilot analytics
- Establish trusted metrics, governance, and data quality standards
- Drive a culture of analytical rigor, commercial thinking, and continuous improvement

Your Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong experience leading analytics, data, or insight teams
- Proven people management and stakeholder engagement capability
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to work hands-on when required
- Experience developing analytical strategy and influencing senior leadership
- Strong statistical knowledge, including experimentation and significance testing
- Experience translating complex analysis into actionable business recommendations
- A track record of improving processes through automation and data-driven decision-making
- Practical experience using AI tools and technologies to enhance business processes
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, commercially focused environments
