London (Hybrid – 3x Days a Week in Office)
The Company
A leading global fintech is looking for an Operations Analytics Lead to join a high-performing Data & Insights function. This is a fast-moving, technology-led financial services business with a strong focus on data, digital products and improving customer experiences. The Operations function spans areas including Customer Experience, KYC and Client Onboarding, Payments, Transaction Reporting and AI Operations; Analytics sits at the heart of how the business measures performance, identifies opportunities and makes strategic decisions.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on analytics leadership position combining people management, strategic thinking and technical delivery. You’ll lead a team of around 4–5 analysts, while remaining approximately 60% hands-on yourself. The team has an existing roadmap, but this role will bring greater structure and prioritisation, helping move the function away from reactive requests towards a more strategic, commercially focused approach. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Operations, challenging priorities, defining the right questions and using data to influence decisions. A major part of the role will be around AI and automation. You’ll help measure the impact of AI-enabled operational tools, support the development of internal copilots and ensure that AI initiatives are backed by robust analytical frameworks. You’ll also work across areas such as workforce analysis, customer-service operations, KYC and operational efficiency.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
