Operations and Clinical Services Lead - Devizes, Wiltshire.

Are you an experienced healthcare leader ready to take the next step in your career? At Practice Plus Group, we're looking for an exceptional Operations and Clinical Services Lead to provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across our Surgical Centre in Devizes.

What you'll be doing

As Operations and Clinical Services Lead, you will have overall responsibility for the operational, commercial, clinical and professional leadership of Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes. Working closely with senior leaders, clinical teams and corporate colleagues, you'll ensure outstanding patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, workforce excellence and financial sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • You'll lead service development initiatives, strengthen external stakeholder relationships and promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and high performance.
  • Other responsibilities will include:
    • Providing visible leadership across all clinical and non-clinical services
    • Driving operational, quality, commercial and clinical performance
    • Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and governance requirements
    • Leading workforce planning, recruitment, retention and development
    • Managing budgets and supporting sustainable service growth
    • Overseeing quality improvement, incident management and patient experience
    • Building strong relationships with commissioners, healthcare partners and stakeholders
    • Supporting innovation and identifying opportunities for service development and expansion

What we'll look for in you

To be successful in this role, you'll be a Registered Nurse (Level 1) with NMC registration or an HCPC-registered Allied Health Professional, with significant senior leadership experience within a healthcare environment.

You'll Also Have

  • Proven experience leading operational and clinical services
  • Strong knowledge of governance, risk and quality frameworks
  • Experience of CQC inspections and regulatory compliance
  • Financial and commercial management expertise
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading change and service improvement initiatives
  • A patient-centred, inclusive and collaborative leadership style
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding healthcare services
