We're Hiring: Operations & Community Support Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote)
Fighting Fear is a community by Queer people for Queer people. We're excited to be recruiting for a new Operations & Community Support Coordinator to join the team.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day running of a growing queer-led mental health organisation committed to providing accessible, trauma-informed, queer-affirming, and intersectional support.
Location: Remote
Hours: Approximately 4–5 hours per week
Salary: Paid position (salary details to be confirmed)
The Role
You'll work closely with the Fighting Fear team to help ensure our services run smoothly and our community receives the support they need. Responsibilities include:

- Managing patient communications
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service
- Coordinating our trainee therapists and placements
- Reviewing Inclusive Therapy applications and screening forms
- Supporting patient allocation and operational processes
- Community engagement and outreach to increase access to our Inclusive Therapy Programme
- Providing general operational and administrative support
Essential Criteria
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently
- Ability to operate on own initiative
Desirable Criteria
- Experience supporting a mental health service
- Operational support experience within a mental health service
- Knowledge of safety protocols within healthcare
- Experience in outreach or community engagement
