Operations and Office Manager

Full Time (37.5 hours a week)

£45,000-£48,000

St Dionis Church is looking for an exceptional Operations and Office Manager to oversee the practical, financial, and administrative life of our vibrant church community.

This is a pivotal role. You will work directly alongside the clergy and staff team to manage our beautiful facilities, streamline our systems (using ChurchSuite), and organise and make possible the functioning of the body of Christ at St Dionis.

From managing daily church infrastructure and overseeing finances, to acting as PCC Secretary and supporting our local charity partnerships (like Glassdoor and Crosslight), you will ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

We need a highly organised, systematic, rigorous, joyful and efficient team player who loves making things happen.

Core Responsibilities

Operations, Systems & Database Management

  • Systems Leadership: Oversee and optimise key church systems including welcome team, hospitality, newcomers, and general inquiries, engaging both staff and volunteers.
  • Database & Calendar: Maintain ChurchSuite, managing the master calendar, rotas, bookings, and connection with key ministries.
  • Policy Compliance: Regularly review and update operational policies such as IT, phone systems, appropriate licensing, health and safety, and GDPR.
  • Safeguarding: Oversee and ensure the administration of all safeguarding systems liaising particularly with the Parish Safeguarding Officer and those leading with children and young people.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
